Here is an update on myself and some of the things you might want to know about me.

WEEK REVIEW -

On Tuesday, we were very lucky to watch a show that has been performing for our school for some time now. It was so funny, and was very entertaining to watch, there name is The Motuhake Show. We also had cross country practice when we run around the school and then around our bike track. On Wednesday I had a Volleyball tournament versing other schools such as Point England, Glen Innes, Glenbrae, Tamaki Primary, Panmure Bridge, St Pius and Stonefields. It was a good game and we had so much fun. We won 2 games, lost 2, and tied one. So personally I think we did good for our first time. On Thursday, we learnt more about Stop Motion, we have really been focusing on using Stop Motion because it is a creative way to create short films and whatnot. Another thing we have been focusing on is Daily 5. Daily 5 is were we do 5 activities for 7 minutes each. Some of them are Work On Writing (Unfinished work, or writing activities), Word Work ( Work on spelling), Read to self, Read to partner, Listen to partner.

For room 12, I did Work on Writing for daily 5 and here is the story I came up with 

Polynesians For Black Lives Matter

“People killing, people dying.” Black lives matter, we’re all complying. Well, not all of us, some of us are the cause of this all. You scream black lives matter like it's a trend, but the energy you give now should stay like that till the end. This isn’t a game, nor a fiction. This is real life and that's just the way it is. A little boy died for holding a remote, A REMOTE! Now doesn't that sound stupid? Another innocent little boy killed for holding a FAKE gun in Walmart! A place that sells toys, games, fake guns, nerf guns, etc. But because of that little boy's color of his skin you decided to commit a sin and murder him, you murdered him and you feel nothing. No guilt, no heavyweight on your shoulders all because you think you saved yourself, from what? What did you achieve by killing another human being not to mention a little boy? I say this again, you saved yourself from what? From getting shot by a fake bullet? I'm angry, your angry, and if you are not then I don't know kind of human you are.A cold hearted one I suppose.  You may think this is a game, but who is to blame? I mean, real humans are killing other humans for the color of there skin and for what? Obviously, no one understands or knows why people are doing this but it's wrong. What a “perfect” world we live in right? No, if you said yes, you're wrong. Very, wrong. Because nothing is perfection, especially not this world. Racism isn’t born, it's taught. “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up, live out the true meaning of its creed  hold the truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." Martin Luther King Jr. All men and women are created equal, but not everyone understands that. For me, I believe there's only one race, and that is the human race. “Make America great again,” they say, I know I am not the only one who stands for this when I say, make America none racist for the first time ever in history, instead of “make America great again”. It may not be my country, but I will stand for and with those who I know deserve the same amount of human rights like everyone else. There is too much bad/evil already happening in this world, don’t make it worse. Little can be huge so do what you think is right. When giving, you don't always need post it on you're feed, or post it on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Let it be between you, and God. Polynesians for black lives matter. 

Pobble 365 Work On Writing - Scuba Diving

For Daily 5, one of the activities for my group was "Work On Writing" where we chose one of the few options, and I chose to write a story using an image from Pobble 365.  Here is what I came up with.

William Carlos Williams saying a famous piece of poetry about his naughty behavior. Heres my version of a time I was misbehaving a while back.

Recount Writing - Week 10

Last week on Monday we had to choose from four ( 4 )  promps  and I chose number 4 and it was about  my highlight this term and my low light this term.  And we also had

to tell the  background for the story.

The Present

     The present is a story  about a boy who stays on te game

        for too long, and im talking everyday in the morning and 

                   everyday when he come's home. So his mum desited  to by him a 

           puppy to see if he could actually start playing outside with. 

But what he doesn't know about the puppy is that....
