Recount Writing - Week 10

Last week on Monday we had to choose from four ( 4 )  promps  and I chose number 4 and it was about  my highlight this term and my low light this term.  And we also had

to tell the  background for the story.

Plastic Bags!!!

Why do we have plastic bags??? 

During my research about plastic bags and what they are doing to animals 

and other mammals and creatures. Plastic bags are taking over, what can YOU do make

the world a better place? What can YOU do to stop people from using plastic bags and 

NOT reusing them in the right way!?!?!

Phonics sounds

For phonics pavlova got given a phonics task. ( Reading group) We had name as

many words possible and write them down.

Emotion Poem

For writing I made a slide about emotion poetry. And its about what type of feeling the colour is.

E.g yellow is for excitement and happiness.💕

The Present

     The present is a story  about a boy who stays on te game

        for too long, and im talking everyday in the morning and 

                   everyday when he come's home. So his mum desited  to by him a 

           puppy to see if he could actually start playing outside with. 

But what he doesn't know about the puppy is that....

An Earthquake and Volcano's Natural Disaster

For inquiry we are learning about landforms, volcano's and earthquakes. We  have also done some paper mashay for our volcano's in room 10. And we have actually Designing our own islands with our buddy's in room 3. I hope you have enjoyed my slide about volcano's and earthquakes :)

For phonics today we got into buddies and got  stage 6 phonics cards

How To Make Oobleck

   For writing I made a slide about how to make oobleck. Oobleck is  similar than slime just its more hard when you punch it, and then it turns into liquid. This slide i have created  will tell you how to make it, and what you need!

Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori

For Maori Language Week we got given a  Maori book that we had to fill in.

We had to finish sentences but instead of English we did Maori!

Quality Blog Comment.

In cybersmart  we have have been looking at blogs and adding quality blog comments.

A quality blog comment must be POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL & HELPFUL.

A quality blog comment must have a greeting, a compliment,  feedback and a question if you have one.

We have been drafting  our own comments and publishing it onto people's blog posts.

          We have used screencast to share how it is POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL & HELPFUL.

World War 1

In room 10 our teacher showed us a video/film, it was about world war 1 and 

we had to right a recount pretending to be Private Barrett.

Scavenger Hunt-10cm

For writing today we had a another scavenger hunt and we will continue to do

another one but for 50cm! Wish me luck!
